Our missionSupporting, empowering, opening pathways to autonomy.
Diaspora Passerelle Sénégal is an International Solidarity Organisation, founded on 28 September 2024. Its purpose: putting the strength of the global diaspora — from Europe, North America and beyond — at the service of young people and vulnerable individuals, on both shores of the bridge.
A clear social object, enshrined in our statutes.
To support, materially and morally, without distinction, young people — and anyone in a situation of vulnerability — who turn to the association or are referred to it, and to help them achieve autonomy: through housing, access to rights and healthcare, and socio-educational and professional support.
The association also works to foster entrepreneurship, promote civic engagement, bridge the digital divide and encourage international mobility.
Every programme is built on one conviction: the diaspora is not merely financial support from afar — it is a reservoir of skills, networks and experience that can transform individual trajectories and contribute to Senegal's development.
Aligned with the national ambition.
Our motto — "Horizon Senegal 2050, powered by the Diaspora" — anchors our work in the long term, echoing Senegal's national transformation agenda towards 2050.
The Senegalese diaspora plays a major economic and social role for the country. Our ambition: to channel part of that energy into structured, measurable and lasting programmes for the benefit of youth.
Across the diaspora: wherever Senegalese communities live — Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia — welcome, access to rights, integration, mentoring and grassroots solidarity.
In Senegal: training, entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and opportunities for return and investment driven by the diaspora worldwide.
What guides every decision we make.
Teranga & solidarity
Senegalese hospitality as our compass: no one should be left by the wayside — including in life's hardest moments.
Rigour & method
Well-scoped projects, agile delivery and measured results: the seriousness of a professional organisation in the service of the common good.
Transparency
Accounts approved every year by the General Assembly, an all-volunteer governance and clear communication with members and partners.
Openness
Without distinction of origin or background: the association welcomes anyone who shares its purpose, in Senegal and wherever the diaspora lives.
